It’s the official return of the Biebs.

Justin Bieber, whose career launched in Atlanta under the tutelage of Usher, will headline Power 96.1's Jingle Ball Dec. 17 at Philips Arena.

Joining the singer, who recently returned to the limelight with a new hit (the gently pulsing "What Do You Mean?") and a questionable new hairstyle, are Nick Jonas, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Hailee Steinfeld and DNCE. Other surprise guests are expected.

As my colleague Rodney Ho notes , this is a vastly improved lineup from the 2014 version, which downsized to the then-Gwinnett Arena and featured Calvin Harris, Fall Out Boy, T.I. and Jessie J.

Tickets for this year's Jingle Ball are $35-$129.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9 through Ticketmaster.com, the Philips Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Fans can also visit the Power 96.1 website for information on ticket giveaways.
