A day after the Senate ran aground on a GOP plan to 'disapprove' of the Iran nuclear deal, a bipartisan majority in the House rejected the deal in a symbolic vote that gave Republicans the chance to both vent their frustration and get Democrats on the record about the agreement.
"This is a horrible deal," said Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), who spoke with a photograph showing the burning World Trade Center from the attacks fourteen years ago on September 11, 2001.
The vote was 269-162 against the agreement.

As that graphic noted, one Republican didn't take a stand on the issue either way, as Rep. Tom Massie (R-KY) voted "Present."
"As a member of the House of Representatives, I have no authority to approve a treaty," said Massie after the vote, who is a leading Libertarian in the GOP.
The House vote ended a frustrating week for Republicans, as they were unable to find enough votes to block the Iran deal, with Democrats able to limit their defections to 25 in the House and only four in the Senate.
