This is a fascinating case out of Michigan about a teacher of the year now battling her school system in court over her own 5-year-old's education. Teacher Melody Arabo's son Adam has special needs, and the Walled Lake Consolidated School District wants to transfer him from his local school to a specialized classroom elsewhere.

I am sharing a WXYZ Detroit report that aired Tuesday because I get so many emails from parents of children with special needs about the education challenges. Those challenges don't spare any parents, even teachers of the year.
