The multi-billion dollar "Fast and Furious" franchise is slated to crank out at least a couple more money makers, but one of its stars might not be along for the ride.

Rodriguez has spoken out in the past about the male-dominated series.

The eighth in the series, "Fate of the Furious," was filmed largely in Atlanta and is now out in digital form. At least two more movies are expected, with talks of an additional spin-off in the offing as well.
