We saw an early screening of "Avengers: Infinity War" yesterday and that's all we're saying. No spoilers here!
But we can reveal the area locations where filming for the Marvel blockbuster took place, and tell you where some of the stars were spotted hanging out during their time here.
The CGI-heavy production was headquartered at Pinewood Studios in Fayette County. You'll spot Midtown, downtown and east Atlanta in some of the street scenes craftily made to look like New York City with props like New York Post newspaper boxes and NYC taxi decals.
Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson enjoyed a little downtime in Buckhead while filming their roles as Captain America and Black Widow, dining at Umi in June 2017.
Evans previously dined at Chops, where he launched his own currency and posed for these photos with fellow diners .
Evans and Robert Downey Jr. also checked out Better Half in Midtown, and enjoyed their meal so much they popped into the kitchen for a closer look at where the action happens.
Benedict Cumberbatch , who plays Dr. Strange, stopped by the Georgia Aquarium.
“Avengers: Infinity War” is in wide release this Friday. The movie and its successor, not yet named, had a combined budget of $1 billion. It's the latest Marvel movie to film here, following the global phenomenon known as "Black Panther," in addition to "Ant-Man," "Spider-Man: Homecoming," "Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, "Ant-Man and the Wasp" and "Captain America: Civil War."
