Nick Gordon's latest arrest in Florida has attracted the attention of Bobby Brown, whose daughter Bobbi Kristina was once romantically linked to Gordon.

"Domestic violence killed my daughter," Brown said in a statement released by his attorney. The statement went on to offer support to the victim, who has declined to press charges .

In November 2016, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford ruled in a $50 million wrongful death civil case that Gordon was "legally responsible" for Bobbi Kristina's death.

The ruling emanated from a civil lawsuit Bobbi Kristina's rep filed against Nick, not criminal proceedings. The ruling followed Gordon's failure to appear in court to answer the charges.  Here's the lawsuit.
