Watch Jermaine Dupri surprise Usher for 41st birthday
Usher recently turned 41-years-old, and his buddy Jermaine Dupri helped him celebrate the occasion.
The music producer took to Instagram to share a video of him and his friends surprising crooner, whose birthday was October 14, with a chocolate cake with candles.
In the short clip, a woman tells the group to whisper right before they catch the R&B star off guard. Usher smiles as they sing “Happy Birthday.” Once they finish the song, he blows out his candles and says, “I appreciate it, man.”
Dupri wasn’t the only person to send the singer birthday wishes.
Mariah Carey shared a post to Instagram with the caption, “Happy birthday @usher!! Love you.”
Ne-Yo also sent a message on Instagram. He wrote, “Happy bday fellow Libra, LEGEND.”
