Former US Army Ranger Kris “Tonto” Paronto is one of the survivors of the 2012 Benghazi attack, when Islamic militants besieged an American diplomatic compound, murdering U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and information officer Sean Smith. Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty, who were working as CIA contractors, were killed in a separate attack at a nearby facility.
He was portrayed in "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi," by Pablo Schreiber and has since written a book, "The Ranger Way." He's at the NRA convention in Atlanta today signing books and meeting fans. We got a quick interview with him:
