In 2012, after the death of Bobbi Kristina's mother Whitney Houston, Perry arranged for her remains to be transported via his private plane from California to New Jersey. He then eulogized the late Houston at her funeral.

"Whitney Houston loved the Lord. I know nothing separated her from the love of God,” he said that day. “God was for her, and she is resting, singing with the angels. God bless you, Whitney. We love you so much.”

Bobbi Kristina, 22, has been hospitalized since a Jan. 31 medical emergency. Last week her family announced the decision to move her to hospice, saying she is "in God's hands now."
