Atlanta entertainment mogul Tyler Perry, who with girlfriend Gelila Bekele is about to become a parent, may have inadvertently revealed the baby's gender.

In an interview with "Extra'" correspondent Jerry Penacoli to discuss his role in the upcoming film "Gone Girl,"  Perry hinted that a baby boy is on the way.

Asked, "what kind of dad will you be?” Perry said:

“The greatest gift I’m being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that’s what I’m excited about. This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities, who they are, to shepherd and usher him…”

Perry then caught himself and said, "I said him...oops!"

Last week, in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a source close to the couple said they knew the baby's gender but had not revealed it publicly.
