Tybee church plans virtual service on Sunday due to Hurricane Matthew

The sermon at Trinity Chapel United Methodist Church will be taken from the Book of Hurricane Matthew.

"Until we get an all-clear to return, all church activities are cancelled," the church posted on its Facebook page along with prayers for safe travels for those fleeing the coast. "We're going to be keeping a close eye on the situation and developing plans for a 'virtual' Sunday morning worship service if we are still waiting for clearance to return home."
