Two days after Trump's election, Marriott touts Canada getaways

The site detailing information on immigrating to Canada crashed Tuesday night as election results were trickling in. Two days later, Marriott is reaching out to those who just want to visit.

A promo sent to Marriott Rewards members on Thursday touted fun excursions like a "Shopping Spree in Calgary" or  "Sunday Night Special in Edmonton."

To be clear: there's no indication whatever that Marriott pegged its promo to Tuesday's election, and Marriott Rewards members get regular tantalizing offers from around the globe.
