"The Founder," starring Michael Keaton as McDonald's visionary Ray Kroc, is now filming in Atlanta. The project has set up shop today at Alfredo's Italian Restaurant on Cheshire Bridge Road, after stops in Cherokee County and Douglas County. Alfredo's is closed to dining customers today and reopens tomorrow.

Ray Kroc didn't actually found McDonald's of course, but rather vastly expanded the concept started by Richard and Maurice McDonald, inspired by the food stand launched by their father Patrick McDonald. But that would make for sort of a long-winded movie title.
