Actor Taye Diggs, who was in metro Atlanta last month to sign his new children's book "Mixed Me," is stirring commentary over referring to people whose parents are different races -  such as his son or the president - as "mixed" vs "black."

His children’s book, inspired by his son, is about a mixed-race child named Mike. His previous children's book is autobiographical.
