Longtime local broadcasters Steve McCoy and Vikki Locke, who woke up Atlantans and kept them company on their commutes for decades, are teaming up once again for a live event this Thursday night - and they'd love to see you there.

With medications keeping his symptoms managed McCoy stays busy doing voice-over work, and he, Locke and their Star 94 cohort Tom Sullivan produce a regular podcast. All three will be at the Salt Factory at 1 02 S. Main Street in Alpharetta from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and we have a feeling the evening will provide plenty of fodder for a future episode.

All three Salt Factory locations will donate a portion of proceeds throughout the month to Team Fox. Other charitable recipients will be named soon.

"I believe that by giving back, you can make a difference," restaurant group owner  Hicham Azhari said.
