Rocker and UGA lecturer David Lowery sues Spotify for $150 million

David Lowery of Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven fame is suing music streaming service Spotify for $150 million, the Athens Banner Herald reports.

Lowery, now a University of Georgia lecturer in the Terry College of Business' Music Business Certificate Program, brought the civil  copyright infringement suit in the U.S. District Court in California, claiming  " Spotify unlawfully streams copyrighted songs without giving notice or proper payment to the owners of those songs," the Banner Herald reports.
