The movie "(b)ased on the classic 1980's video game featuring apes and monsters destroying cities" also stars "Moonlight" cast member Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Dean Morgan of "The Walking Dead" and Malin Akerman of the series "Billions."

Filming locations included Zoo Atlanta, where The Rock surprised a group of young visitors while the production was set up there.

The Rock, whose previous work here has included the "Baywatch" remake that filmed on the Georgia coast, three of the metro Atlanta filmed "Fast and Furious" series movies and the upcoming "Jumanji," ended things with a nice note to his costar:
