Paula Deen drew ire on Tuesday following the posting of an image of herself and son Bobby dressed as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo from the old "I Love Lucy" show, but the image is four years old and was posted without her authorization, she has since said.

In a statement, Deen apologized, said the image was from a four-year-old Halloween costume event, and said her social media manager was fired over the incident.

Bobby's look, to put it mildly, didn't go over too well.

"Is brownface a thing?" one responder posted.

Deen, who appeared on the Dr. Oz show earlier this year, had been on a comeback tour following the unpleasantness of a couple of years ago. She was booted from the Food Network and lost a slew of endorsements after she acknowledged during a deposition that she had used a racial slur in decades past.

The lawsuit for which she was deposed was ultimately dismissed but not before the episode drew controversy and an investigation by the Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition.

Her latest tweet was swiftly taken down but of course has been captured for all time via screen shot. It doesn't appear to be going over so well. Here are some reactions:
