Bobbi Kristina Brown has been effusive in her messages of love for Nick Gordon, repeatedly calling him her husband in messages posted on her Twitter feed.

Now that she's been hospitalized following Saturday's medical emergency though, both sides of her family have said the two are not officially married, setting up potential legal wrangling over who is responsible for making decisions about her care and who would inherit her estate if the worst happens.
An attorney representing Bobbi Kristina's father, singer Bobby Brown, said in a statement that Bobbi Kristina isn't and never has been married, the Associated Press reported.
TMZ reported that the Houston family has echoed that assertion.

Bobbi Kristina's aunt Marion P. Houston, known as Pat, petitioned the Fulton County Superior Court for a temporary protective order against Gordon in March 2014.
Real estate documents show the townhouse where Bobbi Kristina and Nick have been living, indicate it is owned by an LLC out of White Plains, N.Y. Pat Houston's signature is on documents associated with the property.
