According to TMZ, the Atlanta songstress, who appears on the VH1 show, will not talk about her split from her husband, former NBA player Shannon Brown.

She does not mention his name and refuses to answer the producers’ questions about him, the news site reported.

In the trailer for the second season of the VH1 reality show, which premiered earlier this week, she said, “I just didn’t expect to be a 38-year-old single mom of three ... I’m on my own.”

But that’s all Monica has shared on the matter, according to the TMZ report.

Last month, the Grammy award-winning artist filed for divorce from Brown after eight years of marriage. The two have a 5-year-old daughter, Laiyah, together. The singer has two sons from her previous relationship with Atlanta-based rapper Rocko.
