Mindy Kaling is loving Atlanta. The comic and actress has been in town for aTVfest at SCAD-Atlanta and has made the most of her time here for sure.

Last month Mindy asked her fans via Twitter, "What should my staff do in Atlanta from 2/5-2/7? We're in town for the ATV festival. I have never been to this great American city!"
My colleague Ashley Cole was good enough to pull some ideas together for Mindy (wonder if she made it to the Clermont?)
It looks like Mindy worked out a fun itinerary on her own though!
First, she and her team enjoyed Gunshow on Friday night, where they had the best meal of their lives. Hat-tip to Chef Kevin Gillespie.
The the crew from "The Mindy Project," including lead actor/writer Ike Barinholtz, dined at The Spence on Saturday night. What a night!
They started the meal with a round of bubbles and delicacies like “oysters and pearls” and “bone marrow with tuna tartare and quail eggs.” Then it was on to speck tartine, red wine rigatoni and roasted beets followed by individual entrees along with tons of sides to share including mac and head cheese, thrice-cooked fries and Thai Brussels sprouts.
After a dessert extravaganza of "Funfetti marshmallow microwave cake" it was time to go. By that time the Mindy Nation had arrived, and a server asked if Mindy and her team, who had been in a private dining area, would like to discreetly exit out the back.
Heck no!
Mindy spent 20 minutes meeting and greeting in the main dining room.
"She got absolutely mobbed and was very gracious," said someone who was there.
