James Gunn reveals news about "Guardians of the Galaxy 2"

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel, which held an open casting call for extras in Atlanta recently , is but the latest Marvel project to set up shop here.

We visited the set of "Ant-Man," released earlier this year, and talked with Paul Rudd and T.I.

"Captain America: Civil War" filmed in Atlanta this summer and is due out in May. Here's the epic trailer.

Up next, the latest iteration of "Spider-Man" swings into town.

"We're shooting in Atlanta for most of it, because they have studios there and I think it's cheaper to build a New York set than it is to shoot (in New York), because it's going to be very expensive," star Tom Holland told Super Hero Hype. "We probably will end up here (in New York) for one week or two."

At the moment Russell is promoting the Quentin Tarantino movie "The Hateful Eight," due out on Christmas day, and will have his people call the Marvel people at some point.
