DALLAS -“I just love Trump. That’s my boy,” Kanye West said the other day.

Your boy's got love right back for you, Kanye.

Trump zipped through a long list of topics during his address at the National Rifle Associations Meetings and Exhibits on Friday, from dinging the "fake news" media to hailing tax cuts and the low unemployment rate before lighting into sanctuary cities and illegal immigration with a detour to tout, "We're really doing well in North Korea" and then made fun of former Secretary of State and U.S. Sen. John Kerry for breaking his leg three years ago.

He had nothing but praise for Kanye West, who proclaimed his love for Trump during an interview with TMZ, in response to a question about his penchant for wearing the "Make America Great Again" hat.

"Kanye West must have some power because you probably saw, I doubled my African-American poll numbers," Trump said, adding he thought the surge was a mistake at first. "We went from 11 to 22 in one week. Thank you, Kanye, thank you."
