"Hot Summer Nights," directed by Elijah Bynum directs and starring Maika Monroe, Timothee Chalamet and Alex Roe, is filming in metro Atlanta and has thus far posted some thoroughly entertaining casting calls for extras. Previously they sent up a flare in search of a priest, a hooker, a rich girl and some fraternity boys.

Now the flick ("a coming-of-age drama feature film set in the early 1990s in Cape Cod…about a teenager whose life spirals out of control when he becomes friends with the town rebel, falls in love and gets involved in a drug ring all in a matter of a few months”) needs a few good Putt-Putters.
And batting-cage patrons. And a sweet lady at a funeral.
