The "Super Fly" reboot is due out June 15 but we've got a sneak peek at the trailer, and some behind-the-scenes commentary for you.

"The cast and I were focused on paying homage to the original film, while bringing something new and fresh," Director X (also known as Julien Christian Lutz) said. "I’m excited for everyone to see this movie the cast and crew worked so hard on."

The 1972 original, set in Harlem, starred Ron O'Neal as Youngblood Priest, a drug dealer trying to get out of the life. He played the role in the subsequent "Super Fly TNT," and then Nathan Purdee played Youngblood in the 1990 "Return of Super Fly."

The upcoming remake stars Trevor Jackson ("Grown-ish") in the title role. Check it out:
