Hear Beyoncé as Nala in new ‘Lion King’ remake teaser

Disney Drops Full-Length Trailer for Live Action 'Lion King' The Lion King premieres on July 19. Helmed by Iron Man and The Jungle Book director Jon Favreau, Lion King is expected to shatter box office records. Brock Bagby, B&B Theatres, via CNBC The film is voiced by an all-star cast, led by Donald Glover in the title role of Simba. Beyoncé released a new "Lion King" teaser voicing a grown-up Nala on her Facebook page and YouTube channel Monday.

The 30-second clip features the 23-time Grammy winner’s soulful, commanding voice telling Simba, “You have to take your place as king.”

It ends with a cameo from Billy Eichner’s Timon and Seth Rogen’s Pumbaa.

The long-awaited film from Disney hits theaters July 19.
