Ethan Hawke and Paul Giamatti will star in "The Phenom," filming now in Atlanta, and the project needs unpaid extras for a scene filming Wednesday night at the Gwinnett Braves stadium, 2500 Buford Dr. in Lawrenceville.

It's a baseball themed movie, so my guess is the extras would be playing baseball fans.

Casting folks need anyone and everyone, all ages, backgrounds, shapes and sizes, to sit in the stands from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, possibly later.

You'll get zero compensation for this, but since it's the first week of the Christmas shopping season, you probably have lots of free time and a stack of surplus cash, right? (In other work-for-free news, VH1 needs unpaid extras for a scene filming Tuesday.)

I should note that the casting group handling the G-Braves stadium shoot are good folks who place a lot of locals in background, stand-in, extra and occasionally featured roles in the many major productions filming in and around Atlanta these days. Aspiring actors could be well advised to be in their good graces!
