Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been demolished by a political detractor.

A guy showed up with a sledgehammer and pickaxe told Deadline he wanted to "auction it off and raise funds for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades."

It's unclear if the item survived the demolition intact and or whether trying to auction off the boosted item would be lawful. We're guessing probably not.

Deadline has video of the star removal posted here.
