Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry and his girlfriend Gelila Bekele are expecting a child this fall, according to a person with knowledge of the impending birth.
"They are thrilled and over the moon about it," the source told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "She's due later in the fall. They're getting ready for baby. It's exciting."

The two have been dating for five or six years but keep their relationship very private, the source said. They know the gender of the baby but aren't saying yet.
It's unclear if Perry and Bekele plan to marry and where the child will spend most of his or her time.
"They both split their time between different cities," the source said.
Perry has talked in the past not only about his difficult relationship with his own father but also his desire to parent one day.
"They're both full of love right now," the source said. "It's exciting. It's nice to see them both so happy."
