Chris Pratt is currently in metro Atlanta filming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," having recently wrapped "Passengers" here. He seems to be enjoying his temporary home, and was spotted hanging out at a quintessentially hometown 'do over the weekend: The Fayette Kiwanis Beer and Wine Festival.

MORE: "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn got testy over this question at a fan event in Atlanta

If you missed him, Pratt is inviting fans to come visit the set - and benefit charity.

"Remember bros and sister-bros, this isn't just about you and me raiding James Gunn's secret candy stash, stealing props from the set, or taking selfies with my Star-Lord mask on," he posted. "This is all about doing something worthwhile for some awesome kids who need our help. Every person that enters to meet me on set will be directly helping to build a new teen center at the Boys and Girls Club near my hometown, and making sure they have a safe, fun and friendly community space to be in."

Details on entering here.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
