Rapper 50 Cent actually may not have two quarters to rub together.

The artist known in legal papers as Curtis James Jackson III filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday in Hartford, Conn., the Wall Street Journal reports.

The filing comes days after a New York jury ordered him to pay $5 million to a woman who sued over a sex tape, the Associated Press reported. Lastonia Leviston's invasion-of-privacy lawsuit said he acquired a video she made with her boyfriend, added himself as a crude commentator and posted it online without her permission, the AP reported.
