Celebs react to Chris Rock's Oscars performance

Oscars host Chris Rock kept the focus on race and the dearth of diversity among this year's Academy Awards nominations .

He had lots of folks cheering for him and raising the issue of diversity even before the event began:

Director Spike Lee, who was among the artists declaring an Oscars boycott, did not tweet during the event. His most recent social media activity is this post in support of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders:

Lee won an honorary Oscars and was saluted during the ceremony even though he wasn't there.
