Olympic athlete, reality star personality and author Caitlyn Jenner has undergone sex reassignment surgery and feels "not only wonderful but liberated," according to an excerpt from the upcoming autobiography "Secrets of My Life."

Radar Online ran a segment from the book, due out April 25.

Jenner said going through with the procedure was a "complex decision," given the health risks but made the choice out of the desire to have  "all the right parts."

Exhibiting trademark candor and humor Jenner said dispensing with male anatomy wasn't a hard decision, given that it was useful only for "the ability to take a whiz in the woods."
