Black Lives Matter protestors disrupted air and highway travel and retail activity two days before Christmas as a way to raise awareness to issues including the death of Jamar Clark, who was fatally shot after a confrontation with Minneapolis police officers last month. Clark, 24, was not armed.

At least 15 arrests were made at the Mall of America in Minnesota and Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport.

In California, nine protestors were arrested after they blocked the highway exit ramp leading to San Francisco International Airport.

To assure travelers he posted "CHP has moved all protestors off of the freeway. Travelers will make it to the airport on-time!"

A local news station posted this image of protestors on the road:

Protestors blocked a road in Baltimore, where a judge recently declared a mistrial in Baltimore police Officer Wiliam G. Porter's trial against all charges related to the death of Freddie Gray.

The actions, themed "Black Xmas 2," brought praise and criticism on social media.
