In case you didn't know, this is the last weekend for Georgia's annual Wine Highway weekend. This year marks the largest list of participating wineries, with more than 17 stops from Jasper to Tiger. With seasonally cooler weather, you'll feel nostalgic for fall as you drive the winding roads in North Georgia. The Georgia Wine Highway weekend is a chance for Georgians to celebrate the wine grown right here in our state. Take the opportunity to stroll the sloping vineyards and lounge in the winery's tasting rooms- just one price allows entry to all the participating vineyards!

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
