Wondering what to do Wednesday or Thursday? Find fun, foodie events of course! From a whiskey tasting to $0.21 dining deals to a Brazilian destination-themed dinner, the following three events offer reasons to feel happy on hump day.
Whiskey tasting: Stop by and sip on complimentary drinks as Lovell Bros. Spirits host "Spirit of the Mountains," a whiskey tasting at JCT Kitchen from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. In addition to cocktail samples, perfectly paired light bites will be available.
Presidente brandy bash: Chili's number one-selling drink, the Presidente margarita, is celebrating its 21st birthday today, Wednesday, Oct. 21! To celebrate the grown up margarita, guests at participating Chili's restaurants can enjoy $5 Presidente margaritas and $0.21 chips and salsa all day long.
Destination Brazil dinner: Chama Gaucha in Buckhead will host a destination-themed dinner celebrating Brazilian food, culture and dance from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. Along with partners Go Eat Give and the Consulate of Brazil, guests will enjoy an authentic churrascaria-style dinner featuring the restaurant's signature varieties of slow-roasted meats, a vast selection of charcuterie, cheese, smoked fish and signature salads. While dining, the ambassador of Brazil in Atlanta, Hermano Villa Lobos, will speak about the advantages of visiting Brazil, particularly Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre, which are preparing to host the summer 2016 Olympic Games. Local dancer Andrea Moreira of Dance Brasil will perform live samba dances in the traditional carnival costume.
