These are the stories that lit up the metro Atlanta dining scene this week

Tiki bar and restaurant Tiki Iniki opened its doors this week at 1044 Greenwood Ave. in the space previously occupied by Illegal Food.

Todd Rundgren and his wife, Michele, opened Tiki Iniki in 2013 in Princeville, Hawaii. Rundgren is best known for hits such as "Bang the Drum All Day" and "I Saw the Light" and his production work with bands including XTC and Hall & Oates.

Supper Club Restaurant Group, co-owned by Brett Hotlzclaw and Bill Chapman, an investor in the original Tiki Iniki, licensed the concept from Rundgren to bring the restaurant to Atlanta; the Rundgrens are not involved in the new location.

Eater Atlanta reports that Hotlzclaw will serve as executive chef and Gregory Bradley, who previously worked at Char in Inman Park, will be chef de cuisine.

•The former coffee bar at 8Arm is set to reopen next month as cocktail bar Ink, Eater Atlanta reports. The restaurant shifted its coffee program to 3heart Roastery, which recently opened around the corner on the Eastside Beltline. The bar will likely offer a small omakase-style cocktail menu, along with caviar service and tinned and canned foods from Europe and Spain.

•Pokeworks is slated to open its first Georgia location in December at Peachtree Corner Town Center at

5160 Town Center Blvd., What Now Atlanta reports.

•A restaurant called The Brunch Spot will replace the recently-shuttered Aloha Cafe at 500 Piedmont Ave. NE, What Now Atlanta reports. The eatery will serve "brunch with a Southern twist."

•Tomorrow's News Today reports that Chopt will open its third Atlanta location next year in Ansley Mall; Missouri-based Andy's Frozen Custard will open its first Georgia location next year in Alpharetta; and a fifth metro Atlanta Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams will open next year in Buckhead.
