The Real Fix Pizzeria open in Roswell

After a few delays, Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac of F&H Food Trading Group have opened their fifth restaurant together, The Real Fix Pizzeria, in downtown Roswell. Piazzolo Giacomo Lazzano recently moved from Palermo, Italy to oversee the creation of pizzas made with "locally sourced, high-quality ingredients." Look for a casual atmosphere, with beer and wine, and both fried and Neapolitan-style pies fired in a pair of handmade wood-burning ovens. Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall opening

Described by owner Michael Lennox as "a base camp for the urban explorer" with "campfire cuisine," Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is set to open along the Atlanta Beltline on Sept. 15. But as EATER Atlanta reported last week, Robert Lupo, the former Leon's Full Service chef, who was set to serve as executive chef, suddenly resigned and will be replaced by sous chef Kyle Schmidt, previously of King + Duke and No. 246. 684 John Wesley Dobbs Ave., Atlanta.

“Taste of Fifth Group” for JBF

On Friday, Sept. 12, Fifth Group Restaurants will present "Taste of Fifth Group," an exclusive chef's tasting as part of the James Beard Foundation's "Taste America."
