The Barrelhouse is opening in Old Fourth Ward.

A bar formerly located in Midtown is set to make its debut in Old Fourth Ward next week.

The Barrelhouse, which was located at 22 5th St. NW at Tech Square for seven years, is opening Monday in a space previously occupied by Cast Iron, which closed earlier this year.

The 2,500 square-foot space will seat 104 guests total, with 68 seats in the dining room, 12 bar seats and an additional 24 seats on the patio, and allows the business to expand its kitchen and menu.

“We have added exciting upgrades to the existing interior with a large focus on the spacious patio space,” said owner James Brooks in a press release.

The Barrelhouse’s refreshed menu will include the Barrelhouse Burger, topped with bacon jam, a fried egg, onion rings, cheese and a roasted garlic mayo; a New Orleans muffaletta topped with olive salad; and a beer-braised short rib sandwich.

On the beverage side, look for classic cocktails, 12 rotating local beers on draft and an extensive craft Bourbon list. The bar also features a custom Barrelhouse punch bowl that serves four guests.

The Barrelhouse will be open for lunch, dinner and late night from 11 a.m.-2a.m. with brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

The restaurant will feature a preview from 6 p.m.-close Saturday in conjunction with the Old Fourth Ward Fall Fest and Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade featuring food, drink and games shown on several televisions.
