Miso Ko, a 10-seat sushi counter from Guy Wong, is set to open Saturday, Sept. 8 in Ponce City Market.
Featuring grab-and-go offerings and seated dining at high-back barstools, Miso Ko will serve made-to-order sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, makimono and specialty rolls.
Miso Ko will adjoin Wong’s ramen eatery Ton Ton on the first floor of the Central Food Hall inside Ponce City Market. The counter, made using distressed wood and stucco, also features multi-colored fish-scale tiles
Menu staples emphasizing ingredients including fresh-water eel, octopus, squid, tuna, salmon, shrimp, sweet tofu and soft-shell crab will be on tap, as well as specials, salads and combos.
In addition to Miso Ko and Ton Ton, which opened in 2016, Wong helms Vietnamese restaurant Le Fat in West Midtown and owned recently-shuttered Miso Izakaya in Old Fourth Ward.
