Atlanta ice cream company Queen of Cream is set to open its first ice cream parlor near the Beltline in Old Fourth Ward.

The company, which got off the ground as a mobile ice cream cart in 2014, was co-founded by 28-year-old Cora Cotrim, who has worked as a pastry chef at Paper Plane, Victory Sandwich Bar, and Cacao. Last year, Cora was named one of Zagat’s “30 Under 30” rising stars in the Atlanta food and drink industry.

Queen of Cream produces its small batch ice cream using local and organic ingredients, and  pasteurizes its frozen confections in-house. The company sources grass-fed, organic milk from Working Cows Dairy (Slocomb, AL) and cream from Southern Swiss Dairy (Waynesboro, GA).

In addition to ice cream, the Queen of Cream parlor and coffee shop will serve sundaes, milkshakes, floats and ice cream sandwiches, and feature an in-house bakery offering pies, cookies, and more.    The coffee program will include pour-over, espresso, cold brew, and nitro coffee on draft.
