Jeni Britton Bauer, the Jeni behind  Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams , which operates three scoop shops around Atlanta, announced that all shops would reopen on Saturday at 5 p.m.

All shops in Ohio, Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta, Charleston and Los Angeles closed for a month earlier this spring, after a random sample of ice cream turned up the Listeria bacteria, But the company reopened the shops over the Memorial Day weekend. Then, Listeria turned up, again, in Jeni's Columbus, Ohio plant on June 12. And all shops were closed, again.

This from Jeni's website:

AND WE’RE BACK!

We are happy to announce that we’re reopening our shops this weekend (Saturday at 5 pm) with a limited menu of ice creams, frozen yogurts, and sorbets—all made for us by our partners at Smith Dairy. We are excited about ginger ale + Lemon Frozen Yogurt floats. We are excited about the smell of waffle cones baking and to feel the hustle and bustle of the shops. Thank you for your patience and support. We can’t wait to see you.
