Hampton + Hudson, the new "community bar and restaurant" from Billy and Jenn Streck, is set to open on May 25 at 280 Elizabeth Street in Inman Park.  Billy Streck is best known as a partner at  Cypress Street Pint and Plate and GRAIN in Midtown , and his wife Jenn, an Atlanta native, has experience in both the music and bar business.

Pitched as "an old-world style bar and restaurant," the 3,500-square foot space is anchored by a large central bar, topped by a mezzanine and surrounded by private dining areas. There's also an outdoor patio with a fire pit. The interior features custom overhead bar lighting from  Atlanta designer Tobin Hagler, reclaimed 1800's barn wood, tufted booths, Colonial bar stools, and handcrafted wood tables.

The open kitchen boasts a wood-fired grill and rotisserie oven. And executive chef Jason Hall has created menus for lunch, dinner, late night and weekend brunch, with an eye toward locally sourced ingredients and multiple price points for snacks, salads, share plates, entrees and desserts — plus gluten free, vegetarian and dairy-free options.

Menu highlights include Hampton Hot Chicken Biscuit Sliders, Steak Tartare Tacos, a signature "Spies Like Us" house blend burger, and N.C. flounder fish and chips.

The beverage menu features 20-plus craft beers on draft, all well as draft wine, cocktails and cold brew coffee. Featured cocktails include the Upper East Side, with  gin, elderflower liquor, lemon juice, ginger, fresh raspberries, and mint.
