A popular local burger spot is working on opening its next location.

Grindhouse Killer Burgers is set to open in the Dresden Pointe development at 2573 Apple Valley Road in Brookhaven, What Now Atlanta reports and a representative for the restaurant confirms. The development is slated to debut in late 2019, and the restaurant will open in early 2020. Grindhouse will be the only restaurant at the site and a law office will be part of the other building.
The restaurant will be modeled similar to its Decatur location, with a rooftop bar.

This will mark Grindhouse's eighth location -- the popular burger concept most recently opened locations in Grant Park and Decatur and also has locations in Sweet Auburn Curb Market, on Piedmont Avenue, two franchise locations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and another location in Athens.

The restaurant serves a variety of burgers (including the Impossible Burger, the 'veggie burger that bleeds' ), sides, shakes and a selection of beer, wine and cocktails.

Owner Alex Brounstein opened the first Grindhouse in the Sweet Auburn Market in 2009, modeling it after Shake Shack (which now itself has three locations in Atlanta, including one at Hartsfield-Jackson).
