Taste of Chamblee
is a crash course in that city’s burgeoning dining scene.
The annual food festival, now in its 10th year and hosted by the City of Chamblee, will take place Oct. 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. It will be held in downtown Chamblee, at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Broad Street.
A variety of Chamblee restaurants will be on hand to offer samples of fare that range from Italian to Middle Eastern to Mexican to Southern. While admission is free, tickets for tastings will be sold for $1, and can be redeemed at participating restaurant booths, whose selection will range from $1 to $5 per sample.

In addition to food samples, this year's festival will see the addition of two beer gardens, sponsored by Vintage Pizza and
new brewery and Japanese restaurant Hopstix
and equipped with LED TVs showing football games. There will also be a family-friendly play area.
