Georgia Restaurant Week debuts

The inaugural Georgia Restaurant Week , sponsored by the Georgia Restaurant Association and the Georgia Department of Economic Development, debuts July 13 and runs through July 19, with a variety of prix-fixe dinner menus in the $15-$35 range. So far, participating restaurants seem to be concentrated in metro Atlanta, including Abbotts Bar & Grill in Johns Creek, Cinco in Cumming, D.B.A. in Virginia-Highland, Nikolai's Roof downtown, and Ray's at Killer Creek in Alpharetta.

Downtown Restaurant Week returns

The 13th annual Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week will run July 18-26. Billed as "the first-ever, original Restaurant Week in Atlanta," DARW offers prix-fixe menus from more than 35 participating restaurants, priced at $15, $25 or $35 for brunch, lunch and/or dinner options. Prices are per person and exclude alcohol, tax and gratuity. Alma Cocina, BLT Steak, Legal Sea Foods, Twin Smokers BBQ, and White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails are on the list for this year.
