The team behind a popular Buckhead pasta spot are planting their culinary flag in West Midtown this week.

Forza Storico, from executive chef Michael Patrick and partner Pietro Gianni, will serve a menu of Roman-inspired cuisine starting Oct. 3 inside Westside Provisions District at 1198 Howell Mill Road, on the ground level opposite JCT Kitchen.

Patrick and Gianni opened  Storico Fresco in the Buckhead Exchange shopping center in 2016, with a menu emphasizing handmade pastas, fresh sauces and prepared food, cheese and cured meats. The restaurant received a three star review from the AJC.

Unlike Storico Fresco, Forza -- whose name is a nod to the Roman slang for “let’s do this” -- will not include a retail market.

Forza Storico joins several other new concepts in the Westside Provisions District development including Aziza, which specializes in Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine and Redbird from former Watershed chef Zeb Stevenson.

To start, Forza will be open Tuesdays-Saturdays for dinner only.

The AJC has reached out to a representative for the restaurant for a menu and regular hours.
