Early Sunday morning, a fire damaged the OK Cafe , the iconic restaurant near I-75 and West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead.

The OK Cafe opened in July 1987, and soon became an Atlanta fixture, with crowds standing in line to sample its Southern-style blue plate specials and classic breakfast and brunch dishes.

An Atlanta Fire Department spokesperson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that it looks like the restaurant "is going to be closed for awhile."
