Tuesday, Dec. 12: Marlow's Tavern in Alpharetta and small-scale brewery, Abbey of the Holy Goats, will host a four-course beer dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will feature seared duck breast paired with The Unholy Goat; seared diver scallops paired with Goats in the Garden; pork tenderloin paired with The Goat's Obsession; and more. Reservations are required, and a seat at the table is $50.

Dec. 13 – 15: Krog Street Market is celebrating its third anniversary with holiday festivities. From 7-9 p.m. Dec. 13, guests will enjoy bingo night plus a community punch bowl from Hop City. A DJ will spin holiday tunes from 7-9 p.m. Dec. 14, and Santa Claus will dash through the snow (or chilly weather) from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 15. Additionally, Tuesday night is movie night so grab food and drinks from some of your favorite restaurants and settle in for a screening of "A Christmas Story" Dec. 12 or plan ahead for "It's A Wonderful Life" Dec. 19. Movies begin at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public.

Thursday, Dec. 14: Reformation Brewery will host a beer and pie pairing with local shop, Pie Bar, from 5-9 p.m. Pies will be sold by the slice and musician Cody Bolden will play live music throughout the evening.

Saturday, Dec. 16: Ho, ho, healthy! Since food and fitness go well together, Life Time Fitness will host a special breakfast with Santa featuring options such as organic omelets; kale veggie burgers with tomato, organic eggs, arugula and avocado; and farm breakfast bowls with organic eggs, chicken, squash and brown rice. Food will be provided by the LifeCafe and everyone can enjoy a visit with Mr. Claus before or after their meal. Squeezing in a workout will be optional. The cost will be $10 for members and $15 for non-members. The festivities at the Alpharetta location will be held from 10 a.m.-noon and 9-11 a.m. at the Johns Creek location.
