Now thru Oct. 23: Southern Art is commemorating its five-year anniversary with a special prix fix menu dinner featuring a selection of the eponymous ham board; Georgia shrimp and grits with house-made andouille, okra, hominy, field peas, tomato and shrimp scallion broth; buttermilk fried chicken with mac and cheese and collard greens; and pecan pie. A toast is always in order to the meal is accompanied by a glass of Chandon. The prix fixe menu is available for $55 per person.

Wednesday, Oct. 19: Enjoy a five-course Ferrari-Carano wine dinner that celebrates fall flavors paired with featured wines selected by Celine Bufkin of Ferrari-Carano beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Saltyard . Executive chef Nick Leahy's dinner menu will include Virginia oysters, roasted oyster mushrooms with butternut squash and grilled petit filet with parsley whipped potatoes. Saturday, Oct. 22: It's a pig roast on the patio! From 3-6 p.m. King + Duke will host this pork party along with pumpkin baked beans, sauerkraut-slaw and more. Cocktails will be concocted with Heaven Hill whisky and brews will be provided by Wild Heaven Craft Beers. Tickets for this hogtoberfest, which are $35, may be purchased here.

Saturday, Oct. 22: For its 20th annual Oktoberfest party, Petite Auberge will offer all-you-can-eat traditional German and Bavarian cuisine inclusive of Bavarian pork roast, German sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel, knackwurst, fried troutspaetzle, wurst salad, apple strudel and much more as well as a souvenir glasses filled with German draft beer for patrons 21 years old and over from 6:30-10 p.m. To round of the festivities, rooms will be transformed into a Bavarian-style festival hall with communal tables plus traditional "oompah" music for those who want to show off their fancy footwork.
